WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

This is a story that narrates the amaizing summers that Belly,a normal teenager, gets to spend every year after the shcool year is over and the summer begings. Bellys family is conformed by her mom Laurel,his father wich she doesnt metion very much due to the fact that her parents are divorced and her brother Steven, who is about 3 years older than her. The 3 of them, Belly, Laurel and Steven leave all behind at home to start the summer of their lives at Cousin Beach. This amazing place is where Laurels best friend Sussanah lives with her two really attractive boys Conrad the older brother and Jeremiah the younger brother, she is also divorced. Belly has known the boys science they were all Little kids and she had always have a big crush on them. This summer things really change for Belly because the boys used to see her as somebodys Little sister but this is the summer she turned pretty. She is going to go through many embarassing experiences with both of the boys and she eventually meets a new guy named Cam who makes the situation for Bailey even harder. She has to listen to her heart and decide who she wants to be with.

WHAT DID YOU THINK?

Personally I think it is an amazing book because throughout the whole story this wonderful author narrates the life of a normal girl that feels pretty for the first time. Then she falls in love and starts feeling things for boys and feels that that love and those things she is feeling may be corresponded for the first time. That is one of the things I found incredible about the book because you get to identify yourself with Belly and the way she feels.  Another thing I love about the story is the way the I could really feel like I was there at the beach living this amazing love story along with belly and the other characters. I think that Belly like most of other girls just wants to feel loved and love someone, because throughout the story she does many crazy things to call the boys attention which are really funny because I can actually imaging her being foolish so the boys will notice her that’s another reason why I think this is a perfect story.

WHO WOULD LIKE TO READ THIS AND WHY?

I definitely think that the people who would love this book are teenager specially the ones that feel that they would never have a boyfriend or they don’t feel pretty, because this books make you see that everyone deserves a chance to be loved and mostly when we are teenager because at this age people falls in love every two seconds. This book is perfect for those girls that enjoy reading love story personally I think that is a really easy book to read because it is not that long and you get caught up really easily so you can read 20 pages in 10 minutes and you would not even notice because the story is so funny, beautiful and so easy to enjoy by anyone that takes the time to read a good book. I t probably would be a good idea for boys to read it so they could finally understand what is like for girls when we are in love and probably right it down so they don’t forget and they could use 1 or 2 advices about how to treat girls. Finally I really believe that anyone who reads this book no matter who will enjoy it. I could say that it is my favorite book and I am really looking forward to read the second 

The scene shifts throughout the story are pretty significant beacause in one scene belly is talking and living in the present telling us what is happening in that monent and then the other scene she talking about an experience she had when she was 6 years old. In the story that its pretty much how the story goes , but that doesnt make it confuing or difficult to understand on the contraary I think that it is the importance that they have on the work because it gives you a chance to get to know Belly and what she lived before she was who she is now.

The events connect in way that they are all similar becuase this a love story so in all the events we can find Belly doing things for love, that its the way that the events connect with each other. The events mostly talk about Bellys life and all the things she does with the boys all along the summer so thats the way it all connects with the whole because the whole talks about bellys reasons why she is in love with the guy she is in love with wich in this case is Conrad.

There are many things that lead me to believe that the theme is that love makes us do crazy things for example one of those things is when Bailey constantly tries to call Jeremiah and Conrads attention, so she does a series of things that probe that love makes us do stupid things like when she was 12 and accepted to go out with Conrad, because by then Jermiah used to hang all the time with her brother. All the things that she did in the book prove that love makes you do cfrazy things.

There are many conflicts along the story that are what make the story really interesting and edgie. One of those mant conflicts and the main one is that Bailey has been in love with both of the borthers and she sees them every summer, but its a really big conflict because the three of them live togehter all summer and things turn out to be a little or mabye a lot awkard between them. Another conflict on the story is that belly doesnt want to feel little and she wants to feel older and fun so when they are at a party she starts drinking alchool even though at the same time she doesnt really wants to. Another one main conflict is that at the same time she wants to bad to be older and be taken seriously she as well wants to keep doing what she know is better for her and safer.

the point of view of the stroy is the main characters she is the narrator and i know thsese because she is telling the story and talking about how she feels about both of the boys and she is narrating everything that happens along the story and letting know the reader how she feels when something happens or what she thinks about things. Along the story she talks about how and why she feels about being in the summer house with two guys that she feels atracted to at the same time and how is that making her react and what is causing her to do the things she does.

Belly is the principal character of the story she is a normal girl who loves to hang in the summer at her mothers best friend susannahs beach house.  S Susannah has been her mothers best firend scince they were little and every summer they go to the beach house, susannah is like bellys second mom. Her parents are divorced but she spends time with both of them. She is skinny and she has brown hair. Jeremaih and conrad are brothers and they are both Bellys brother figures, crushes and firends all in one. Along the story Belly interacts with both of them.

The book that I am going to read is the summer i turned pretty. One of the reasons that I decided to read this book is becuase many of my friends have recomended to me and they have told me that its a really good book. This book has 2 other books and i plan to read them when i finish this one. I have also resarched about the author and she has really good books, so im really looking forward to reading it.
